It is almost the end of the midsummer festival, I am feeling lucky today as have added one more elemental pet (Scorchling) into collection. Hopefully, we can collect the rest of the elemental (E.g. Earth, Air, Life) in the future.

Spirit of Summer

Thank you Blizzard for resetting all the bonfires quests today(Details of issue). I.e. you can redo all the bonfires quest for extra . Yes, another 350 for Spirit of Summer.



Lastly, hope Lord Ahune drops Scorchling pet and end the festival nicely.

The Flame Keeper

The toughest part for me was to get the Flame of Stormwind, mainly because there was one hunter scouting the area when I were there. He caught me a couple of times and the whole group ganked me when I attempted to sneak in from the canal. Fortunately, I was closer to the bonfires for each attempts and got it eventually. May be it is safer to just ride and rush to the bonfires. I was luckier in Ironforge as they are kind enough to let me get the Flame of Ironforge before killing me. Appreciate that.

Torch Juggler was easier than expected, I have brought 15 torches, click and press really fast until get the achievement.. Track the achievement to see the progress.

Midsummer - Playing with Fires

There is issue that the midsummer quests are not reset yet, but Blizzard is aware of that. I.e. If we have completed those quests last year, we can't do it yet this year until they fix it.

Fortunately, I still manage to collect 390 by running around. 10 more for midsummer set, and 350 for Spirit of Summer.

Midsummer Festivals

Midsummer is coming soon in 2 weeks. It is time to talk to commoners in capital cities and start the journey of honour the flames (The Fires of Azeroth) and desecrate the bonfires (Desecration of the Alliance).

I will go to Stonebreaker Hold in Terokkar Forest first, then go to the rest of bonfires in Outlands and end at Thrallmar in Hellfire Peninsula. Next, going to Eastern Kingdom via the Dark Portal. It is pity that I can’t bring the orphan with me this time.

After visiting all the bonfires in Eastern Kingdom, then it is time to go back to Dalaran to have a rest. Next, take the portal to Tanaris to continue the journey until I reach Darkshore.

Darkshore starts the most exciting and dangerous part of the journey where I have to sneak into Alliance capital cities to steal the flames: Exodar, Darnassus, Stormwind and Ironforge . If I have managed to survive and steal the flames from the above cities, then I will be rewarded Crown of the Fire Festival. To celebrate this, let's put up the rest of Midsummer set (400 ) and burn the hot pole dance in Orgrimmar.

Lastly, save up 10+ torches (Quest reward of Torch Catching or 10 or mailed from alts) and juggling them in Dalaran. Additionally, let’s find the liked-mind heroes to defeat Ahune in Slave Pens and hope he gives each of us the Scorchling. If still have 350 to spare, get the Spirit of Summer.
