The Keepers of Ulduar: Freya

For Freya, the fight is the adds itself and it is generally chaotic. Below are some tips:

• Chop the tree when it appears as Lifebinder's Gift is bad.

When Freya Summon Allies of Nature, defeat one of the following waves of adds.

• Defeat Detonating Lashers one at a time, as they Detonate when they die. Avoid AOE unless nobody nearby. Lashers will attack random players and don't have aggro table.
  
• Stay under mushroom and defeat Ancient Conservator.
• Damage Elemental Adds (Ancient Water Spirit, Storm Lasher, Snaplasher) down to 30% health respectively and defeat them at the SAME time.

• For phase 2, just stay away from green root.

Blackwing Lair

Blackwing Lair is still quite deadly in recent run today, as a lot of players are defeated by Shadow Flame during the following encounters: Firemaw, Ebonroc, Flamegor and Nefarian. The dots are still powerful even if the players are level 80. Luckily, this can be avoided easily by wearing Onyxia Scale Cloak or learning the fights.

Lastly, although the attunement has been removed, completing Blackhand's Command will give you access to orb that can teleport to Blackwing Lair.

A Void Dance

A Void Dance is one of the difficult achievements, not because of the encounter but the chance to meet the boss with the right group.

At this stage of the game, I guess most PUG can handle this pretty well. AOE spells should be avoided so that sentries are not killed accidentally. This has happened a couple of times for earlier PUG groups.

The Fall of the Betrayer

Still remember the famous quote "You are not prepared!" from Illidan Stormrage?
A group of us have ventured into Black Temple to find the betrayer today. The road is not smooth, but we have managed to help Akama wrest control back of his soul, escaped from Gorefiend's construct and finally defeated Illidan.

Happy to complete the super long Burning Cursade Raid Quests Chain. The last quest of the chain is The Fall of the Betrayer and the reward is Blessed Medallion of Karabor that can teleport me to Black Temple every 15 minutes.

Will I still use that to teleport?
Yes, I will put that in the bag, but I doubt I need it frequently.

Alchemist's Cache

Freya is my favorite boss in Ulduar not because of her look but her gift (Alchemist's Cache) to the Alchemist. The cache can only be looted by Alchemist and contains flasks, elixirs, potions and herbs.

There are few ways to distribute this cache, but my favorite is let alchemist roll the cache and up to the alchemist to decide whether to keep or distribute some of the goodies based on the need of individual raider.

Red vs Sunreaver Dragonhawk

Quite upset when first heard there is another "Red" Dragonhawk coming out in 3.2.
The main reason is I am still working on Moutain o' Mounts and probably getting the Sunreaver Dragonhawk before the Red Dragonhawk. This has also made the Red Dragonhawk reward from Moutain o' Mounts less unique and exciting. Fortunately, they are not exactly the same.

How many Champion’s Seals we need?

How many seals we need if we want to collect all the BoP mounts, pony and teleport tabard? Wow, it is 1225 after some calculation. (Pets are not included as they are available in auction house) If we are getting 4 seals per day, then it is going to take 300+ days. Personally, I will save the seals for 3.2.

• Argent Hippogryph - 150
• Argent Faction Mounts - 500 (100 x 5)
• Old Argent Faction Mounts - 25 (5 x 5)

3.2

• Argent Pony Bridle - 150
• Argent Crusader's Tabard - 50

Wormhole

Heard about wormhole when I were kid and have impressed with the hypothesis since then.

Although I am not engineer, still quite happy to see this new toy (Wormhole Generator: Northrend) that can make wormhole. Cool stuff. May be engineer will get some device to do time travel in the future.

My Favourite Ring

There are many rings in WOW, and Signet of the Kirin Tor (ilvl 200) is my favorite for some reasons

• NOT because it is sold at 8500G, but the possibilities of upgrade
  
• In 3.1, the ring can be upgraded to Inscribed Signet of the Kirin Tor (ilvl213)
  
• In 3.2, it can be upgraded again to Etched Signet of the Kirin Tor (ilvl 226)
  

• Ability to teleport to Dalaran, and free up hearthstone to location like Booty Bay.
  
• Best non-raiding ring and has important stats such as spell power, crit and haste.

For those who haven't purchased the ring but exalted with Kirin Tor, you can get the ring plus 2 upgrades at the price of 8800G (6800G + 1000G + 1000G)

Oculus: Experienced Drake Rider

I guess this is the easiest Oculus achievement, we only need to experience three different color drakes in three different runs. However, death before the Eregos will not count towards the achievement even though the group has defeated him.
